Advocacy
Working To End Poverty In California
Catholic Charities of
California represents the 12 Catholic Charities Agencies in California.
We are strong and united voice for those in need, serving as an advocate for the most
vulnerable in our state, including but not limited to children, the elderly,
the disabled, immigrants, and those who live in both rural and urban
communities. It is our tradition and belief that our state, through
its policies and budget, must make it a priority to address the needs of the
poorest and most vulnerable persons in California:
-
Everyone
should have adequate
food and water to nourish their bodies
-
Everyone
should have access to equitable and affordable health care
-
Everyone
should have the
opportunity to adequately provide for themselves and their families
-
Everyone
should have a safe, decent, and affordable place to live
